Who processes your data
Divido is an app for tracking personal expenses and splitting shared costs. The operator (data controller) is Danil Melkozerov, an individual, Republic of Azerbaijan. You can contact us at privacy@divido.ru.
What data we store
Only what the app can't work without.
- Your user account. Your email address and its verification, or your Sign in with Apple identifier; the name you entered, language, time zone and main currency. Your password is stored as a hash (argon2id) — it can't be recovered from the hash, so we don't know it either.
- Your financial records. Accounts and balances, categories, transactions with amount, date and note, budgets, savings goals and recurring payments.
- Shared expenses. Groups, their members, shared expenses and payments. Names of people you added manually — exactly as you wrote them.
- Contacts. Names and email addresses of the people you added to Divido.
- Devices and sessions. Your push notification token, if you allowed notifications, sign-in times and the IP address you signed in from. We need the IP so you can spot a sign-in that wasn't you.
- Purchases. If you subscribe to Divido Pro: the plan (monthly or yearly), Apple's original transaction ID, the expiry date, the environment (sandbox or production) and when we last verified the subscription. The payment itself goes through Apple: we never receive your card or payment details.
- Parse counter. How many voice and receipt parses you made each day — to apply the free monthly allowance and the daily cap.
- Technical logs. Requests to the server with address, time and result. Kept for no longer than 30 days.
What we don't do
We don't show ads, we don't sell or share data with third parties for marketing, and we don't embed third-party trackers or analytics. The app contains neither Firebase nor any advertising SDKs — you can check this by looking at its network traffic.
We don't send your whole spending history to a language model and we don't train anything on it: only one phrase or one receipt is sent out — the one you're dictating or photographing right now — and only when you tap the button.
Who we share data with
- Yandex Cloud Postbox — email delivery: address verification and password reset. We share the recipient's address and the text of the email.
- Apple — push notification delivery and Sign in with Apple. We share the device token and the text of the notification. Apple also processes Divido Pro subscription payments and sends us notifications about renewals, cancellations and refunds.
- Language model provider — parsing an expense you dictate by voice and the text from a receipt photo. Usually only text is shared: a short phrase like “coffee yesterday 8 manat cash” or the lines read from a receipt, together with the list of your account and category names, so the model can pick the right ones. Receipt photos never reach the server: the device reads the text from them itself. The device also recognises speech itself — except for languages it can't recognise; currently that's Azerbaijani. For such a language, the voice recording is sent to our server and from there to the model provider for recognition and parsing. We don't store the recording: it's used only for that one parse. If you'd rather not send a recording, enter the expense as text. Data is shared only at the moment you tap the microphone or photograph a receipt; if you don't use these buttons, nothing is sent out.
- Hosting provider — hosting the server and the database.
Data is disclosed to government authorities only upon a request made in accordance with the law.
Where and for how long data is stored
Data is kept in a database on our server; backups are made daily and kept for a limited time. As long as you use Divido, your records are kept with no time limit: this is your spending history, and we have no right to cut it short.
Deletion
Settings have two separate buttons. “Clear all data” erases your records but keeps your user account. “Delete profile and data” deletes the account entirely. After deletion, records are removed from the live database immediately, and from backups as those expire.
Group records are shared: an expense that other members can see stays with them when your account is deleted, but is no longer linked to you. Otherwise people's debts would no longer add up.
Your rights
You can get a copy of your data (the app has a CSV export), correct it, delete your account and withdraw your consent to processing. For anything else, write to privacy@divido.ru — we'll reply within 30 days.
Children
Divido is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page and the date at the top will be updated. We'll let you know about significant changes in the app.
